Never heard of Lady Quark? Not surprising. Her entire universe was destroyed in the first scene in which she appeared. Oh, but she survived. It was the “Crisis on Infinite Earths”, and I think she was created mostly just to show that there were more than just a couple of parallel universes being destroyed in the first of DC’s big “event” storylines. But unlike with most recent “events” that introduce new characters, DC didn’t immediately spin her off in her own series. They eventually got around to putting her on one team or another, but never really put much effort into establishing her as another top-level superheroine.
